I heard this on a radio show today about relationships. You will attract what you most desire. But be careful, if what you are focusing on is looks you may miss other qualities that you don't want or need. Be a mirror, reflect what you want from a guy in how you approach and how you let them approach you. If you don't mind if a guy says ';Ay girl whats yo name?'; or ';Hey shortie';, then you should know what to expect. If you prefer more gentlemen, then don't respond and don't think its cute. Your'e a lady, hip hop or not you have to be careful how you let a man speak to you. First impressions are everything, so if you let something slide the first time people may think that's what you like. Another saying: its not what you're called, it what you answer too. And keep in mind, don't put people in a box labeled with how you think they are. Not everyone in the hood is ';hood';. Unless that's what you're looking for. Just don't get caught up trying to imitate what you see in videos!!!! Even the young guys perpetrating what they see don't realize that's not real life! Okay, enough preaching.
