We're considering upping anchor from our very comfortable newly renovated home on Sydney's northern beaches for a ';tree change'; on the central coast. Has anyone got practical advice on things we should consider before we take the plunge into a new farm life? We have two small children (1year and 4 years). My husband will continue to commute to Sydney for work although he will stay over two nights a week to reduce the driving. He runs his own company so can pick and choose his travel times. I plan to run the farm and look after our kids. Perhaps set up a B %26amp; B or adjist horses. Would love to hear from anyone who has done something similar.Any advice for people considering a ';Tree Change'; with children?
Sorry not my experience.
There's a thread on moving to the countryside here tho: http://www.maryjanesfarm.com/snitz/topic鈥?/a>
And a country living site here: http://www.kountrylife.com/cgi-bin/topic鈥?/a>
More specifically about treechanging is this site from someone who did it themselves: http://howtotreechange.com/ ... actually taking a look at it this site could be just what you were asking for ;-)
Follow your dream!
Good luck!
