I was just wondering if all the 17 %26amp; below people on here actually take advice from someone who is a little older when they say ';youre too young'; or ';dont have sex'; and various answers I see from more experienced adults on these q's about dating or sex? Or does it make you want to rebel more because you kind of think ';what do they know'; or ';they dont know what im going through'; , maybe various defensive thoughts that may appear in your head? Its weird for me because I never had a boyfriend in school and it never appealed to me to get in a relationship so I dont know what girls really know or how they truly feel. Since Ive been out of school 10 years now %26amp; havent been a teenager for a while its all kind of a blur. I barely remember how I thought about things. Im sure I knew it all. So do you listen to the advice or form your own opinions anyways and go what you wanna do even if you probably know its not the proper mature, responsible even waiting until adulthood thing to do?Do younger people take older peoples advice or dismiss it?
I think some do and some don't. And its all depends on what type of advice there trying to give in any given situation.Do younger people take older peoples advice or dismiss it?
it depends on the who you taking the advice from. Some elders will give you the wrong advice or wouldnt have expernience what you going through
To me, it doesn't matter if there older than me. I go by if I trust them or not, if there younger than me but they are a good friend of mine then I'll consider listening to them.
