I keep trying to play my guitar in the dorm stairwell but people keep punching me. Any advice?

Could it be that they punch you to let you know that they feel and share your pain......sort of like a comrade thing????? Also, you didnt say what kind of music you keep trying to play.......maybe you should try love songs........hell no!........ then they might start trying to hug %26amp; kiss you.........sitck with the punch buddy.





Seriously, next time try playing in an oped field.......so that by the time anyone gets close enough to punch you .....you would have seen them and run to another spot.
well its not always that easy, you should probably go somewhere else with fewer...hostile people around lol.
how about try to understand? maybe others feel noisy? how about go to somewhere quieter to play your guitar? others have worst experience than you. got punch out of nothing.

Go somewhere that it won't bother people. Or, get guitar lessons so that people will want to sit and listen.

Since you want your artistic freedom, you sure 'know' about freedom. Give people freedom to punch you as they want the freedom to punch someone...mmm...not acceptable? then brace your freedom.

Playing is great, just make sure you're in an area where you won't be infringing on other people trying to study or sleep. The stairwell may just amplify the sound and be bothering others.

first try it in frnt of a mirror if u like it those guys are fools otherwise u r
take out the strings of your guitar and then try to play..
Find a less public place to play. People obviously don't appreciate your playing around them.
Then take your guitar as far away as possible from human contact you selfish git.
