I鈥檒l be moving to LA next January to learn English.. I will stay three months but I don鈥檛 know anyone there鈥?any tips to get to know people and make friends? Where are cool places to go out for dinner/drinks, dancing, shopping, etc? Other tips??

There are many clubs that play salsa, reggaeton or spanish music.. Sorry but I can't think of any off the top of my head.. I only know clubs more for reggaeton where people like 18-25 hang out and I'm sure you probably want a more sophisticated scene.. there is alot to do out here just let people invite you places or see where it takes you..

Start by visiting Universal Studios. There are some restaurants there also and it all depends on what you want to do. Hay mucho que hacer en Los Angeles
Starbucks, or any coffee houses may be good to start with, LA is so big if I dont know the exact city in LA its hard to say what is good to do or go to to meet people.
try to meet people at your school . . . that would be the best place to start.
